What to do about concrete spots on car from road construction?
My road has been under construction for 7 months, they just put in curbs .. So for a week we had to park out on the street (which is currently all torn up and gravel)
We were finally allowed back into our driveways, so monday I went to wash my car as it was suuuper dirty from the dust & everything .. Well I thought I had missed a spot so I washed it again and then realized that it’s actually concrete splatters .. It’s a TON of tiny specks along my drivers side front panel .. I noticed that to get it off I had to scratch it off with my nail .. NOT going to do that to the whole area and ruin my paint!
I bought quick decal and a clay bar to help remove it hopefully without damage to the paint …… but I want to know if I can file a claim because of this – and if so with who (my insurance, the county, or the Construction Company?), I know my brother & sisters cars also had the same thing …
you want to file a claim do it with your insurance and let them go against the county (it would be better if all your neighbors had splatter damage also then you could all go against the county at once)
