Is Pacon construction paper acid free?
I have contacted the Pacon company through email but have gotten no response. I know the PEACOCK line is acid free, but I don’t know about the SUNWORKS line. I’ve been looking all over for it online but can only find information about PEACOCK.
I was wondering if someone cruising around here would know, or could direct me somewhere where I could find out.
I want to use a cheaper paper to doodle on and I like the way different colors look against the colors of the pencils. Ingres paper was breaking le old bank.
If it is NOT acid free,by chance, would it be still okay to use? I’m not talking about anything that will be around forever, but I am concerned with the longevity of it anyway. People a long time ago didn’t know (I don’t think, anyway) about acidity of paper and some of their drawings/paintings are okay. I know it was also in the way it was stored, too. How is this?
Since acid free qualities are big selling points these days, I’d say if they don’t specifically say it’s acid free in their product description or packaging, it probably isn’t.

In by gone days all a contractor had to do was give the customer good quality and good service and he/she would be set. Then set back and let your customers do your selling for you.
