Estimate to trim back backyard trees?
we recently got an estiimate of $900.00 to trim back our overgrown backyard weed trees and sapling plus the ground weeds spinging up quickly with spring finally settling in.
The price includes clean up and removal but is $900.00 a fair price? We’re on tight budget and wonder if we couldn’t do it ourselves with some sweat equity, construction bags and tool rental? help…
I did & would get several different estimates. Trimming trees takes more than just cutting off limbs. You have to know which limbs best to remove & the proper shape to keep tree in so during big storms your trees won’t end being damaged or having insects/diseases take over from a poor pruning job. The saplings & weeds you can handle yourself. The removal of tree limbs is best left up to tree company but the rest can be able by you. You just need to research the best way to do & so it doesn’t grow back.
