Where can I find examples or samples of a resume for someone in construction?

I need some help regarding what to write in the Objective section of a resume for sombody looking for work in construction. Not entry level, but nothing really higher than Basic Construction skills. THANKS

Construction is a little different from most other industries , in that it actually produces something instead of just pushing paper around like the insurance industry , banking , government , law , etc . They operate a little differently also , my guess is 95 % of contractors would laugh in your face if you tried to hand them a resume ( they would think you were a fancy lad if you tried to hand them a resume ) . Every one I’ve ever know have done their hiring by simply talking to the prospective employ , asking them what their abilities are and then deciding whether or not to offer them a job .

In by gone days all a contractor had to do was give the customer good quality and good service and he/she would be set. Then set back and let your customers do your selling for you. They would tell a friend and then that friend would tell a friend. Your phone would be ringing off the hook. I remember as an Architectural designer some days I would have up to four people wanting to schedule appointments for designs. Those days are long gone! But Fear Not! Click Here For Help
