Which Security Jackets Are Up For Heavy Tasks?
Security jackets are very important garments as they are used for highly important purposes. As such, the requirements and standards for security jackets are quite high. Several factors affect the overall quality of these jackets, such as the design, the materials used, the fit, and the construction, such as the stitch counts. All these factors contribute to how well your security jacket will support you when you need it.
Some security jackets rise above the fray and command attention due to their excellent design and construction. One of the best brands of security work wear and outerwear you can find in the market is Solar-1, which offers a wide variety of security jackets and parkas for various uses and conditions in the security field. There are generic security jackets while there are also some security jackets made for special uses. One thing is common, though, and that’s the tested quality of Solar-1 jackets. Solar-1 prides itself for the long process of design, manufacture, and trials that the security jackets undergo. The jackets also come with several helpful features that make usage even more specialized and functional.
Some of the best security jackets in the market offered by Solar-1 include the 921R Security Parka, a special security jacket available at an affordable price of only $50. The parka extends to a length of 34 inches and features snap down side slits that allow easy access. It is made with 100% Nylon material and a water-resistant shell. It also has a polyester quilting that provides effective insulation, a drawstring waist for a special fit, a YKK zipper, two patch pockets and two slash pockets, knit wristlets, pile collar, a badge tab, and a zip-off hood. Solar-1 also offers the 977B Security Bomber Jacket, which is available at an economy price of $40. The bomber jacket is 17 inches long and made from 100% Nylon. It has a Nylon lining, a waterproof shell, a polyester quilting, Epaulets with metal shoulder snaps, a YKK zipper front, Velcro closure on the patch pockets, side pockets, knit wristlets, and a pile collar. This model also comes in a deluxe version, which adds the use of Rayon blended in the Nylon lining.
Solar-1 also manufactures security jackets made of a blending of Nylon and Rayon. One such jacket is the 0966 model, a 34-inch jacket with an outer shell made of Nylon and Rayon for added durability and strength. It has a 6-oz. Poly insulation and is spark resistant. It comes with a YKK zipper and a zip-off hood. For special uses, Solar-1 also offers a reversible raincoat that has three layers with taped seams for durability and a solid construction. The raincoat has two reversible colors: orange and black. The orange side also features 3MM reflective tapes. If you want a jacket with “security” printed on the back, check out the WB02 Coaches Jacket, a Nylon-made windbreaker with a Nylon taffeta outer shell and 100% polyester brushed tricot for the full lining. It comes with a snap front, slash front pockets, and elastic cuffs. The bottom hem can be tightened with a drawstring. All these options are just some of the high-quality security jackets offered by Solar-1.

Do your horses like to chew on things?
One of the eight horses at the stable I take lessons at likes to pick up Construction Cones and carry them around.
He has two Jolly Balls and an apple stall toy but he goes nuts any time he finds an unattended jacket, brush, shoe, blanket, or anything. He also likes to rub his nose on soft things. His favorite thing is to chew on people’s clothes while they’re sitting on his paddock fence.
Do you know any horses that do that or is he just strange?
I don’t so much as find it strange as I do amusing. I’m a bad horse-mom for letting my guy get away with it some might say, but I don’t mind and since switching to nylon leads, it’s not a problem anymore.
My horse chews on his lead rope like there’s no tomorrow. He learned how to untie a quick-release knot, and has chewed his cotton leads so much they’d fray and snap at the lightest tug. Like I said–I switched to nylon, lol. He also like to play with the long whip after a warm up/longing. After I join up with him he’ll grab one end or the other of the whip and play with it, swing it around, chew on it, etc. He also grabs his halter out of my hands at times, or just prefers to play tug-o-war with it when I’m either trying to halter, or even unhalter him for turn out, etc. He’s also been known to take a bite out of the styrofome part of my helmet, steal my purse, as well as my camera bag, and try to eat his bridle while I’m putting it on. He’s not past chewing on available clothing either, this includes horse-wear and people-wear; from fly masks, to jackets, etc.
I let him play with his lead and the whip, but beyond that it can get a little annoying/dangerous/bothersome, etc. lol. Then again, it is amusing and he’s no problem in my concerns. ^^;
Frank Thomas XTi Mesh Textile Jacket – Cycle Gear Review
In by gone days all a contractor had to do was give the customer good quality and good service and he/she would be set. Then set back and let your customers do your selling for you. They would tell a friend and then that friend would tell a friend. Your phone would be ringing off the hook. I remember as an Architectural designer some days I would have up to four people wanting to schedule appointments for designs. Those days are long gone! But Fear Not! Click Here For Help
