What’s the best way to stop a fence blowing down in the wind?
Part of my garden fence has blown down in the wind and I’m going to repair it shortly.
What would be the best way to help it stay up if there’s another storm apart from the obvious solid construction?
Would drilling holes in the panels, (maybe along the top and bottom edges), to allow the wind through, go some way to prevent the wind from blowing the whole panel down again?
This is a fence along the edge of my driveway so it isn’t designed for privacy but needs to be solid panels to prevent large amounts of litter entering my driveway.
Valkimi almost has it. Hinge every third or fourth panel and put a simple bolt on the other side so when you get the bad weather reports open the panels to allow air flow. But be aware over F8 and there will be little you can do.
