All Kinds of Costumes for All Kinds of Women

There are countless women’s costumes available today; women can choose from historic to mythical, from famous literary characters to movie stars, singers, pop icons and anything else one can think of.

Looking back into history, a woman can be Cleopatra, an empress or queen, Joan of Arc, Marie Antoinette or Queen Elizabeth the First. Of course, there are the classic characters: Lady Macbeth, a lady vampire, a witch, and the Bride of Frankenstein. When it comes to modern characters, women’s costumes encompass such people as Jackie Kennedy, Madonna, Tina Turner (just the wig is often enough to establish the character), Hillary Clinton, Hannah Montana (for the preteen set),and rock stars like Gwen Stefani, Pink, and Britney Spears.

Then there are the generic characters. Women can be lady pirates, doctors and nurses, teachers and principals, angels and demons, construction workers, police and fire fighters, and so on. Given the popularity of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies and “Twilight”, pirates and vampires are particularly popular right now. Women’s costumes can also take a child’s costume idea and turn it into something sexy and alluring. A Catholic schoolgirl uniform, cheerleader’s outfit, nurse or candy striper, Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks and so on can be quite provocative when done right. Then there are the outright sexy women’s costumes like serving girl, French maid, slave girl, Playboy bunny, and stripper.

Very often makeup and/or a wig will help to complete the costume and various props. A ghost costume can be accentuated by a white wig and some gray and white makeup. For a doctor or nurse, a medical bag with some instruments can help and a lady cop can use a gun (fake), baton and handcuffs.

Also, costumes don’t have to just be for Halloween; a costume party for another holiday or a private get together for an anniversary or Valentine’s Day can also be the right occasion to dress up in women’s costumes.

In the honor of Stupid people (Part 2 of 3) ………?

On Boot’s Children Cough Medicine — “Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication.” (We could do a lot to reduce the rate of construction accidents if we could just get those 5 year-olds with head-colds off those bulldozers.)

On Nytol Sleep Aid — “Warning: May cause drowsiness.” (I’m taking this because?)

On most brands of Christmas lights — “For indoor or outdoor use only.” (as opposed to what?)

On Sainsbury’s peanuts — “Warning: contains nuts.” (talk about a news flash)

On an American Airlines packet of nuts — “Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts.” (Step 3: say what?)

On a child’s Superman costume — “Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly.” (I don’t blame the company. I blame the parents for this one.)

On a Swedish chainsaw — “Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals.” (Oh my God..was there a lot of this happening somewhere?)

I’m laughing out loud here!! these are even funnier than the part 1 lot you posted!!

I especially love the chainsaw one!! ….you must not stop it with your hands or genitals…..does that mean it’s OK stop it with any other body part then? LOL

STAR WARS FX LIGHTSABER Construction Set

In by gone days all a contractor had to do was give the customer good quality and good service and he/she would be set. Then set back and let your customers do your selling for you. They would tell a friend and then that friend would tell a friend. Your phone would be ringing off the hook. I remember as an Architectural designer some days I would have up to four people wanting to schedule appointments for designs. Those days are long gone! But Fear Not! Click Here For Help
