facts: I was in the left lane and the officer was parked in the center median on the other side of a bridge. There were other cars next to me. It is a construction zone (there are construction barrels for maybe 5 miles with no workers and no equipment present).
Fine: $550 plus $100 because I missed my court date
I have rescheduled my court date, however a traffic attorney will cost around $500 and they said most likely the fine will also have to be paid and I would only get a points reduction. I can drive to Darien and back for half that and represent myself. I need advice for presenting a defense and negotiating the fine
