what does maimi dade building school have to say about sod roofs?
Your question is unclear: if you are asking if you can build a “sod roof” under the Miami-Dade building code (which is one of the strictest codes in the country), then you need to look at the code. I think that it is unlikely that a true sod roof would be allowed under their regulations, although it is possible that one of the new “green roof” systems might meet their standards (I am assuming that you are thinking of a green roof, not an actual sod roof).
Looking at the link below, searching under Roofing for Organic, I do not see any green roof systems; however, I did not search deeply, and you might have more luck.
